the ICIC Executive Director visited to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Tunisia
Dr. Mohamed Hamad Elasbali, ICIC Executive Director, visited the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Republic of Tunisia on July 16, 2025, on the occasion of the Kingdom’s contribution to the ICIC budget, as one of the institutions affiliated with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The support was delivered by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Tunisia, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr, during his reception at the embassy of the ICIC Executive Director, Dr. Mohammed Hamad Elasbali, who reviewed the humanitarian and development work carried out by the ICIC at the Islamic and international levels, and the bilateral cooperation relations with the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the OIC during the legal meetings within the framework of the OIC, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a party to the ICIC Agreement, the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, which recently culminated in the signing of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with the ICIC , by establishing a joint cooperation and partnership organ, which is the Center for the Preparation, Qualification and Training for trainers of First Aid, Rescue and Response, as a contribution from them to the development of the human capacities of the National Societies of the Red Crescent and Red Cross in the OIC countries. The first course of training for trainers of the first aid will begin in Riyadh on July 26, 2025. He expressed his thanks and confidence for the Kingdom’s regular payment of its contributions to the ICIC annual budget .
